Experience the power of storytelling virtually as K.E. Lewis reads from his latest book (or a title of your choosing), followed by a Q&A session to dive deeper into the narrative, its inspirations, and to pick the author’s brain.

Virtual Q & A

A half-hour session with the author. Students and teachers have a chance to pick the author’s brain about his work, inspirations, daily routine, etc.

***Students must have read at least one of K.E. Lewis’ works before the day of the Q&A to be sure the conversation is rich, enlightening, and engaging for scholars. ***

Ghosts, Haints, & Horrors: An in-person conversation

A conversation about ghosts, folk lore, and K.E.’s hometown legend, The Lizard Man, using his short story “Now You See Me” featured in The Haunted States of America. K.E. will focus on techniques and tie in tactics of writers of the macabre and horror genres like Edgar Allan Poe and Flannery O’Connor.

Ghosts, Haints, & Horrors: A monstrous workshop (coming soon)

A five-day author-led experience, taking students through the complete writing process, learning figurative language, devices/conventions, the tactics of macabre and horror genres while drafting and revising. This week ends in a spooky open mic to celebrate student success!

Celebrating Dads: A Virtual Affair (coming spring 2026)

Elevate your event with a pop-in from K.E. Lewis reading his title Because of Dads.  Prior to the event, have your young scholars send letters and words of thanks to their dads to be included in a ceremonious presentation. Perfect for Father’s Day events, Daddy-daughter dances, Donuts for Dads, or any event where fathers and father figures are celebrated.
